Collaboration With Other IEA TCPs
The HTS TCP collaborates with several other TCPs such as the International Smart Grid Action Network. Annex 5, the Smart Grid International Research Facility Network (SIRFN) is one group in particular that the HTS TCP connects with on a regular basis. SIRFN gives participating countries the ability to evaluate pre-competitive technologies and systems approaches in a wide range of smart grid implementation use cases and geographies using common testing procedures. The HTS TCP is also active in developing products for the Program of Work for Annex 6, Power T&D Systems. Our TCP recently collaborated with Annex 6 to develop a case study on the Ampacity Project in Germany. The case study provides an overview of the project, the technologies, lessons learned and next steps. The case book will be available for download on the ISGAN publications page.
